Finding healthy, delicious and nutritious snacks that your baby or toddler loves can be tricky at times. They all go through those staged where it seems like they will only eat 3 things! For Greyson that is usually, yogurt, cheese, and fruit. But I have found some yummy recipes that keep Greyson happy and me too because I know he is getting the vitamins and minerals he needs.

So here are 5 of not only Greyson’s favourite recipes but also mine. Because they are so yummy and packed healthy goodness. Not to mention these recipes are easy to make and can easily be put in the freezer and thawed on demand.

Click on the little of each recipe and be direct strait to the website and recipe I follow. Plus each site has tons of yummy dishes to try.

| 1 | Veggie Chickpea Sticks

Chickpeas are high in protein, benefit digestion and taste delicious with the right spices and ingredients. That is what makes this recipe so great, Greyson can still get his protein in without overeating animal products and they are packed with other veggies too. Ooohh and I love them too!!

| 2 | Broccoli & Cheese Fingers

My boy loves broccoli so this recipe was a win for us. But if your little one is iffy about those little green trees maybe this recipe will have them wanting more and more. Cheddar cheese is a great accompaniment to broccoli. I sometimes add cauliflower too for a little extra goodness.

| 3 | Blueberry & Avocado Smoothie

I drink this smoothie all the time but I change it a little to make it more mama friendly. But Greyson loves this whole milk baby version and I am not complaining! It is the perfect little drink to go with breakfast or to have as a snack. Plus it is full of some many healthy fats, vitamins, and minerals.

| 4 | Baby Apple Banana Muffins

These little muffins are a house win for sure! I love them, Greyson Loves them and so does Jeremy. I usually leave out the apple because I find it makes the muffins a little too wet/doughy for me. But instead, I make them 4 different ways right in the muffin tin but adding blueberries, peanut butter, raspberries or spinach. It’s an easy way to switch up the kinds without making a million batches.

| 5 | Mini Mac & Cheese Bites

These are good for mom and dad too! I like to make mine with shredded zucchini, carrot, and some chopped peppers. They are the perfect handheld snack and are a lot cleaner than sticky mac and cheese! Try adding pureed spinach to kick up the amount of veggies your little one is eating!

I hope you enjoyed these recipes and may they spark some creativity in the kitchen department next time you are cooking or baking. Being creative in the kitchen is how I come up with some of my go-to recipes and dinner ideas that the whole family loves. And if it only turns out okay I know how to tweek it next time.

Also, each website is packed with yummy recipes you will want to try. So give them and quick peek and follow on their social site too. You will not be disappointed!
