I missed The Nest Market for Fall so when I saw that there was going to be another Nest Market for Christmas I was literally jumping for joy! I am a sucker for local shops and helping out small businesses so I knew I couldn’t let myself miss this market again. Plus it is the perfect excuse to get out of the house with Greyson and spoil him a little for Christmas. And that is exactly what I did, this mama just couldn’t help herself! Take a peek at the gorgeous goodies I picked up this weekend and meet the makers behind each product!

The Nest Market For Christmas

The Nest Market is a collection of local vendors from around the Bulkley Valley. They offer beautiful handcrafted items from baby goods to personalized stationery to body care products and even sweet treats.

Peaks & Valleys Baby

Say Hello to Shaele, boymom, wife, and owner of Peaks and Valleys Baby a small home run business that specializes in all your baby needs. She offers gorgeous, safe, handcrafted swaddles, changing pad covers and blankets in a variety of modern prints and textures. Shaele’s products are not only beautiful but amazing in quality too!

When Shaele found out I was expecting she gifted me a Peaks & Valleys Baby swaddle and I fell in love. The black and white checkerboard flannel is the perfect size for taking with us anywhere from in the diaper bag to bundled up in the car seat. It keeps Greyson warm and cozy on our walks and made for some adorable newborn photos too!

Nature’s Essence

Welcome Katrina the owner and maker of Nature’s Essence, all natural body products for the whole family. Each item is pure, simple, natural and made in small batches so you know that you are using only the best on your skin.

I picked up the Baby Bum Balm this weekend because I noticed that baby Grey’s little cheeks are starting to get a little red! So after asking some moms in the valley what to do, they told me that this product was a must to fix diaper rash and I thought why not try it out! Fingers Crossed it works for Greyson too!

Ink & Grace Paper Co.

Meet Brooke, a mama, wife, lover of calligraphy and owner of Ink & Grace Paper co. a beautiful little home run shop in Northern BC. She offers beautiful customized calligraphy cards, calendars and so much more. Brooke really puts the beauty into everything she produces.

I purchased Greyson his first Christmas ornament from Ink & Grace Paper co. and I couldn’t be happier! It is beautiful, simple and modern, just what I look for in the little things. Not to mention the hand-drawn calligraphy makes it so personal. This is going to look amazing on our Christmas tree this year.

Minna.ca

Laura the owner and operator of Minna definitely know’s the meaning behind “less is more” and that is exactly what her little online shop offers. The products are beautifully simplistic, functional and truly showcase the “less is more” mindset.

Greyson loves his pacifier and until now we had been using the soothie but as soon as I saw the Bibs Pacifier I knew I had to get one! And I am happy to say he loves it and I do too! The natural rubber, outward face, and the simplistic design have got me saying I NEED another. Only thing I forgot to get from the Minna Booth was a pair of booties!

Twigs & Pine

Welcome to Twigs & Pine a little stationary shop ran and owned by Kim. She offers a wide variety of items from cards to pictures to calendars and more. Her pieces are beautiful just take a peek at the ones I got my hands on.

I grabbed these two beautiful watercolor works of art from Twigs & Pine this weekend and I haven’t looked back. Although it did take me forever to make up my mind, there were just so many beautiful pieces to choose from. But I fell in love with these two and I can not wait to hang them in Greyson’s nursery!

Twig Baking Co.

Say Hello to Twig Baking Co. a new business in smithers bringing you delicious little treats from cookies to these marshmallows and so much more. If you are placing an order make sure you try out the gingerbread cookies they are ‘to die for’ and I know they are made from a secret family recipe too!

I did have some gingerbread cookies too but they didn’t make it home! Makes me wish I had more but these gingerbread marshmallows are filling my gingerbread craving and when paired with a cup of hot cocoa they are that much better.

Thank you for taking a read about what I picked up at The Nest Market, I hope you will enjoy these little local shops as much as I do. I know you’ll be able to find some adorable Christmas gifts for the whole family! Be sure to see what little thing I pick up next by following me on Instagram and Facebook.!
