Well, my 21-day sugar detox has come to an end. And although it was not easy and I made a few slip-ups I am so happy I embarked on this journey!! | It’s A Wrap |

I can finally say that I did it! I completed my sugar detox and I am so happy that I made it through. I am feeling better than ever I must say. My mid-day sugar craving is gone and I only crave a sweet treat every once in a while. Not to mention I have changed my snacking habits too. Instead of reaching for that quick granola bar I am reaching for fresh veggies or fruit.

This journey has also taught me the importance of preparing for my week ahead of time. I now cut us ample veggies at the start of the week, cucumber, carrots, broccoli, cauliflower, and peppers. It is perfect for when I am on the go or when Greyson is having a mama day and my hands are full with him.

Along with understanding my sweet tooth, I have more energy and my skin is clear. I also learned a lot about what is really in the food I was eating by paying close attention to the food labels. Next time you are in the cupboard take a look for yourself, it may shock you!
