This has been a highly requested post so I thought my not share it with you and let you know a little about what things are essential when leaving the house with Greyson! I am sure some things may be predictable but maybe some won’t be so predictable. Discover some of the brands I am using, why I love them and why you’ll love them too.
To me, a well-packed diaper bag is essential to leaving the house and having a successful trip with few tears and fuss. Sounds silly I know but it is so so true. And along with that means picking the right style of diaper bag that fits your life. From cross-body to backpacks or shoulder bags, there are SO SO SO many to choose from! So without further a due let us dive into my diaper bag!

I am using the Deluxe and Co. Anytime diaper bag in grey. And I am loving this bag! It holds everything, comes with a changing pad and can be used as a backpack! It is seriously the best diaper bag and I am not just saying that. It has 2 insulated pockets inside and 6 convenient outer pockets. So here is what essentials I keep in my bag.
Soother & Sippy Cup – Gryeson is finally latching and sucking from a sippy cup! So I make sure I bring it with us either full of water or milk to keep him happy. As for a soother, he is still only taking the soothie shaped nipple. But he is loving it so I have lots of those one hand. I love the Ryan & Rose paci .
Swaddle Blanket & Burp cloth – Both of these are essential to leaving the house with Greyson especially the burp cloth because if you know Grey then you know he used to spit up ALOT! Plus they are great for quick clean-ups.
Grey & Beau Nursing Cover – The multi-use nursing cover is the best invention ever! Seriously it is a must for all mamas, use it as a car seat cover, nursing cover, shopping cart cover or blanket, the options are endless!
Favorite Toys – I always make sure to bring whatever his favouite toy is that week, bat what is never forgotten is his Fan-Fan the fawn teether by the Sophie Company.
Change of clothes – I am taking a summer outfit, sleeper, socks, hat and sometimes shoes. Gotta make sure you are prepared for whatever the crazy northern weather throws our way.
Diapers, Wipes, & Changing pad – Never ever leave the house without these because you know that if you do you end up with a dirty diaper mess. I use the brand Seventh Generation for disposable diapers but I usually use Holly Bottoms cloth diapers.
Snacks – right now I am finding that the squeeze pouches are so convenient when on the go so I always make sure to pack one of them and some finger food. Greyson’s favorites right now are the Love Child Organics love ducks and their coconut, banana, sweet potato pouch. SO YUMMY!!
