Yes! Yes! Yes! It is true baby number 2 is due June 23rd, 2020. Greyson is getting a little brother or sister and our little family is growing once again. We couldn’t be more excited to welcome another bundle of joy into the world.
| When We Found Out |
The moment I found out I was a little shocked, to be honest! We knew we wanted a second baby soon but not quite this soon. I just started working again, Greyson was becoming so active and I just started a business. And all I could think was “how am I going to manage two under two?”
But after a few days of letting it settle in and thinking about how great it will be to have them close in age, I knew it was meant to happen for a reason. Who knows exactly what that reason is but I know it is a great one. There is nothing better than watching your little one grow and I look forward to doing it again!
| First Trimester |
This one was a tough one and so different than when I was pregnant with Greyson. This time around nausea, exhaustion, and morning sickness wait, I mean all day sickness was a full force! Last time around I was a little nauseated but it was easy to get under control and never threw up. This time I was sick many times at different times of the day. Plus for a constant 5-6 weeks, I felt nauseous all day which is tough when chasing a 1-year-old around.
But now with the first trimester over and the second trimester just starting I am feeling much MUCH better. Thank goodness! I am now looking forward to the rest of it and what this pregnancy holds. What I am most excited about is getting to hold our little one and have the doctor announce what we have. Because this time we are not finding out until the day our little one is born!

Well, now that that big secret is out and free it is time to start sharing all things baby. Bump dates, baby preparation ideas, and nursery ideas I have been thinking over the past 3 months! Ooo and I guess it’ll be time to let you in on secret number 2… But not right now! We will save that one for another juicy post.
