Do you like planners, planning, or guided journals? I LOVE them and I am so happy I found the happiness planner because it is all of that but combined! Every year I spend hours searching for the right planner of the year and each year I pick a different one. Because I am forever changing and growing the planner I used the year before because I outgrow them. But The Happiness planner is one I don’t think I will ever outgrow and I am here to tell you why.

After the crazy year 2020 was I thought I didn’t need a 2021 planner. I thought if I couldn’t go anywhere or make plans why would I even need one. But after stumbling upon The Happiness planner I knew I needed one! So after watching too many review videos in the bath and reading blog post after post I bought one. And I am so HAPPY I did.

Last year was a hard one, a stressful one and honestly, my headspace was not always in the best place. The combined stress of a pandemic, having Emberly, and go go go two-year-old was challenging! Thankfully the happiness planner has helped list my mood and keep me looking ahead.

There are so many things I love and just a few little things I don’t like or wish it included. So lets jump into it!

What I Love & What I’d change

I would love to say this is all in one planner that does everything a planner could do and more but it is not. It is really focused on being a personal improvement planner which it does a phenomenal job at but it misses the mark on also incorporating everyday life stuff into it. But overall I do LOVE it and here are a few reasons why.

What I love

Goal-based and transformation driven. Every month there is a space a the beginning to set your personal and professional goals and how you will achieve them. Then there is a monthly recap to reflect on the month’s past.

Daily Layout. The daily layout is perfect to get everything out and anything you need to do on paper. Plus it has a space for gratitude, hopes, daily check-ins, meals, exercise, and a daily quote!!!

Two planners instead of one huge planner. I love that this version of the happiness planner came in two separate books. That makes it light if you were to bring it with you and it make it fun to crack into a “new” planner half way through the year.

What I’d Change

There are just a few things that I would have loved with the version of the happiness planner I bought. First, more Notes. This is a big thing for me I am always coming up with lists, blog post ideas, meals ideas, activities and having a space to that in my planner is something I’d like. Second, a week at a glance page befoe the daily pages for that week would be nice to do a braindump before you write it all out in the daily area. Lastly, easy flip monthly tabs.

Final Thoughts

My loves for the Happiness planner highly outweigh the things I would change. And the fact is the Happiness planner is meant for planning and if I want it to do everything like be a notebook, journal or budget planner they have other products for just that. So maybe I should try out one of those too! But all in all, I would definitely recommend this planner to anyone who loves to work on themselves! Someone who wants to set and crush their goals! So what are you waiting for? Ready to achieve and crush your goals? Then grab the happiness planner.
