In a stand mixer or mixing bowl, cream the butter, brown sugar, molasses, cinnamon, ginger, cloves and baking soda together until the mixture is smooth.
Stir in the flour and water to make a stiff dough.
Chill at least 30 minutes or until firm. This will make it much easier to roll out and it will not stick to the rolling pin.
Roll out and cut into gingerbread house using the template provided
Bake for 15 minutes until the dough feels firm.
Remove from oven and let cool completely before assembling and decorating.
