Close your eyes, now imagine a toddler girls room filled with wildflower colours, a reading nook, white metal bedframe and the most beautiful upcycled bed canopy. Now open your eye! That it what inspiration I am pulling for when I create Emberly’s new toddler room. Think blush and dusty pinks, sage green and vintage lace white furniture paired with natural woods. To get this project done and give me inspiration I have joined the One Room Challenge you can see for yourself what its all about here.
I am so so so excited to start the remodel process. I have six projects to complete in 8 weeks to have her room looking dreamy and girly. Check out what projects I have planned and when they will be released below. Or tune into my Instagram to see behind the scenes of it all on my IG stories.

My Projects For The Remodel
Since the One Room Challenge is 8 weeks long I have come up with six different projects to get done ranging from sewing to painting and even a circuit sign. My goal for this remodel is to do it as cheap as possible but still have it looking beautiful. I will be getting the materials I need at the local thrift store, off FB Market Place and upcycling what I have to get the job done. Now lets check out what I have planned below.
Project One || Upcycled Flowy Bed Canopy: April 21st
I will being using a bamboo queen size sheet I purchased at the thrift store and turning it into a canopy. PS, it turned out AHMAZING.
Project Two || Fusion Mineral Painted Dresser: April 28th
We have an old dresser that is too dark so ill be lightening it up with some fusion mineral paint and updating the knobs too.
Project Three || Rosy Tan Scalloped Wall: May 5th
The walls are getting a total makeover with some white paint and a rosy tan scalloped feature wall.
Project Four || Wild Flower Wall Art: May 12th
Another thrift store upcycle with frames and some circuit vinyl to create some wildflower wall art goodness.
Project Five || Reading Quiet Nook: May 19th
For this space I am going to be upcycling some old pillows into cute cushions for a reading nook.
Project Six || The Final Reveal: May 28th
This project will be a fun reel and a blog post that goes into detail about the room and of course showcases it all.
Those are all the projects I have planned. I hope you are as excited as I am!! This is going to be a good room transformation I’ll say that. Now make sure you mark your calendars and tune in each Thursday for a new blog post about each project and sneak peaks of the room. But before you go scroll thought the not so lovely before picture below. You can see it needs a lot of TLC.
