Hello, month number 3! Aww, our little boy is officially 3 months old as of today. Where does the time go? This past month has been full of changes from settling into a bedtime routine, taking our first road trip and discovering his hands it has been a busy month. Greyson loves to chew on anything, loves the song “You Make It Easy” by Jason Aldean and kicking his feet.
Nothing But Giggles
I do not think there is anything cuter than baby giggles. Seriously they are the most adorable thing ever! Greyson laughed for the first time on January 27th. We were visiting his Nana and Papa’s and his little cousin got him laughing and the best part is we caught it on camera too! And I can even say it brought a tear to this mama’s eye.
Goodnight Sleep Tight
After a few weeks of trial and error and hours spent rocking in our room with only the lamp on I have finally gotten the bedtime down pat.  It wasn’t easy but with much patience and sleepy eyes, we did it. Now each night Greyson enjoys a bath (which he loves), a coconut oil massage, two books, a last feeding then lights out! It usually starts around 7 PM and by 9 PM he is sleeping. Next step sleeping through the night and transitioning to the crib! If you have any tips send them my way!!
The First Road Trip
The first road trip was a wonderful success I didn’t even forget anything! Haha Just kidding! I forgot the stroller, oops. We only went on a short trip but none the less Greyson did wonderfully. On the way there we only had to stop once for a feeding and change and on the way back home we had to stop twice. When we got there we did a little shopping! Greyson got a little crocodile bathing suite that I can’t wait for him to try out in the pool. We also got a new carrier for him which I highly recommend. The Infantino Carry On it makes me excited for our first hike!
What’s To Come
The past three months have been so much fun and I can not wait for what is to come. We are going to start going to a few baby groups, try out the pool and continue practicing rolling over. On a side note, I am going to be planning our March Trip down to the Okanagan! We have so many people to see and places to visit it will be a fun one. So stay tuned for all the deets by following me on Instagram or Facebook. If you have a place I should visit or fun thing to do in Kelowna or Kamloops let me know.
