I am a firm believer that when one can shop local or within their country they should! Not only is it better for the environment but whats even better is that it allows you to help out a fellow friend, loved one, or fellow Canadian. And that is the first reason why I have started buying from Canadian Esty stores. They offer a wide range of beautiful products and I get to help out a growing business.

So that is why today I am very happy and excited to share with you one of my new favorite Etsy shops. The Creative Spark Studio! After finding out I was preggers I decided to look around at different milestone cards, baby milestone blankets, pregnancy planners and so much more. After days of looking at perfect posts and pictures, I decided I needed a set for myself. And that is where my search began.

I searched for days, looked at countless sites, and started to lose faith that I could find ones that were affordable and that actually shipped to Canada. Then I stumbled upon the Etsy shop The Creative Spark Studio. It was love at first sight! Their pregnancy and baby milestone cards were something I knew I needed and so I got both! They are the perfect little touch to any belly bump photo and will be adorable alongside the baby.

I picked up a set of both the pregnancy and baby milestone cards in monochrome and I haven’t looked back. They are so adorable and add that special little touch to each bump photo I take. | Who They Are || A Little About Lisa & Heidi |

Lisa and I met in the dog days of a summer, long since past. Our precipitous acquaintance blossomed into a full-fledged friendship, that was steeped in a shared passion for creativity. The Creative Spark Studio is built around the belief that creativity is not exclusive to skilled artisans and craftsmen. We posit that it is instead a mindset, that focuses on the experience, versus an end result. While our store upholds a high standard in any product we produce, we seek to promote the joy of creating, starting with an idea, right through to brainstorming, application, and completion.

Lisa is a graphic designer and certified Child Life Specialist. She owns and operates three stores, works administratively in her husbands business, and raises her two busy, young boys. Her devotion to creativity is endless, as she endeavors to challenge herself and others in their approach to a creative mindset. Lisa has limitless passion in her pursuit of promoting creativity as an outlet, which in turn, enhances wellness and balance. Lisa loves the quiet of early mornings to focus on her creative efforts and to enjoy her cup of tea.

Heidi is a nurse and co-owner of two businesses. She works from home in a variety of capacities, including raising her two young daughters and assisting in her husbands business. Heidi values the adventurous nature of creativity, and avidly promotes the shifting of perspective that can arrive through creative immersion. With a focus on health, harmony, and learning, she encourages others to let go of insecurities, and instead focus on the joy of the creative experience. Heidi always has a minimum of three to four projects in various stages of completion, as most of the time, she is learning as she goes.
