I recently started and completed a 21-day sugar detox by 8 Fit, read about part one and two here. And with lots of requests, I decided to show you some of my favourite healthy snack that kept me sane during the 21 days. So without further ado here are 5 of my favourite sugar-free snacks. May they inspire you to try some new things and step outside your comfort zone.

| 1 | Rice Cakes or Wasa Crisps

This little snack is perfect for killing my sweet tooth or savory tooth. With plain rice cakes or wasa crisps it is easy to change the toppings from sweet to salty. My go to sweet topping is a spread of creamy peanut butter with sliced banana and a dash of cinnamon. My go to savory topping is a layer of thin cream cheese topped with sliced cucumber, avocado and a sprinkle of southwest chipotle seasoning.

| 2 | Danote Vanilla No Sugar Yogurt

I was shocked when I found this yogurt on the shelf in Safeway. It is exactly what I have been looking for! Plain yogurt with a hint of vanilla flavour without all the extra added sugar. That is right the only sugar in this yogurt comes from the ones naturally occurring in milk. Top it with berries and granola and viola, DELICIOUS.

|3 | Hummus & Veggies

This one is quick and easy if you prep a bunch for veggies by chopping them up and portioning them into little grab snack bags. Simply grab a bag of veggies and a scoop of hummus, its the perfect light snack.

| 4 | Popcorn

If you are anything like me then you are guilty of craving a little snack before bed. The perfect snack for me is popcorn, it’s light quick to make and it can easily be changed from sweet to savory to with cinnamon or southwest chipotle spice.

| 5 | Roasted Chickpeas

I have been making these delicious little snackables for a long time. They are packed with protein and perfectly crunchy. Check out the recipe I follow HERE by the Minimalist Baker and try them for yourself.

I hoped you enjoyed this sugar-free snack post! If you did give it a like and let me know what your favourite healthy snack is in the comments!! I am always looking for yummy snacks to try. Thank you for tuning in this week!

I hope they have inspired you to try and do a sugar detox for yourself! Or join me next time I do a sugar detox! Or maybe it has inspired you to try some new healthy snacks? Either way happy snacking!!
