The ground hog has spoken and this year he said 6 weeks early spring. And here in the Bulkley Valley we are feeling it, sun is shining, brids are chirping, snow is melting and mud is about to be EVERYWHERE! Mothers you know what that means, it is time to break out to rain suits and boots.

So instead of search the internet for days and days on what to buy this year stop and my round up of the top 5 Rain Suits for toddlers and kids 2022. Muddy Buddy is a number 1 choice by the moms I know, it is a great price, 100% water proof, will keep you little ones dry no matter what! My only con is they are very boxy and my kids are short so the size just never seemed fit the best, they would always out grow the arms and legs before the torso.
2 || Stylish Colours – Wheat Clothing $115 or Kulings $105
This year I splurged on wheat clothing rain suits and the quality is amazing!! We tested it out in some puddles and not at a drop of water got in. Plus the colours and patterns in the Kulings line are gorgeous and they have ALOT of options.
3 || Fleece Lined – Jan and Jul $80
Jan and Jul is a smaller Canadian brand from Vancouver and they always come out with the cutest prints! t your kids love prints like, unicorns, polkadots, farm animals they are the brand for you. Plus the have a lightly fleece lined option for our cold spring and fall days in the north.
4 || Best 2 Piece – Reima $80
A few kids at the daycare I work at have Reima Suits and they are great. The price is right for a 2 piece suit at about $80 which is great for a coat and pants. The brand also offers some great rain mittens that are 100% water proof for those chillier wet days.
5 || Grow Out System – Columbia $80
If you are familiar with Columbia they offer the grow out system on their coats and snowpants. So if your little one is prone to growing out of their sleeve or pant legs then this may be the suit for your toddler. Plus they have some cute prints!
