After a little mini vaycay away from blogging and my social sites, I am back finally back because I am starting to feel much better! I know I wasn’t really away from long but even a few days feels like foreverrrr when you get stuck in a rut. Does anyone else have those days or weeks?! I sure do as you can tell… Ooops! But the creativity is flowing and I have some very special and wonderful news to share with all of you lovelies. I am good at keeping a secret I swear, but, this one has been eating me alive for the last few weeks and I am so excited to let it out!  Are you ready? Okay, here it goes…

We are EXPECTING!!

Ahh, that feels better now that that’s out in the open and off my chest. Since we are expecting our first little bundle of joy that means that there will be a few changes happening too. So get ready to see a new update on the blog and much much more posts. But before all of that let me explain how we found out and what our reactions were.
P.S. I am going to be honest with you so if you can not handle a woman’s body do not read it!

| How We Found Out |

It all started with a missed time of the month, nausea, extreme fatigue and tender boobs. At first, I thought it was the cold I had turning into the flu because it was going around but boy was I wrong in the most precious way. After a few days, the cold started to fade but the symptoms remained and I knew something was up. I discussed it with my wonderful fiance and so we decided that it was time to take a test. And so I did.

After work one night at the beginning of March I tore open the box, followed the instructions then set it on the counter went back out to my love and we waited… Longest 3 minutes of our life! When the time was up we debated who was going to look. And I lost so there I went back to the bathroom. I picked it up and sure enough double lines. I froze, staring down at it like it was going to do something.

Then this overwhelming feeling of happiness, ‘what do we do now,’ and plain joy swept over me and I started to cry. Jeremy came to check on me since I had been in the bathroom for about 5 minutes and as soon as he looked at me he knew that it was a yes. He hugged me told me everything would be fine, everything will work out, and when I looked up at him I knew he excited for us to start a family.

Flash forward a month and here we are! Me 12 weeks pregnant, graduating with my Associates’ of Arts Degree and Jeremy dreaming that we will have a boy. And both of us are planning for the baby. So stay tuned for all the baby details from the nursery, to gear, to gender reveal. You will read about it all. And although this little bundle of joy was not planned all the best things in life are unplanned. And like my Grammy told me after I told her the wonderful news.

Sometimes life has its’ own way of making plans for you
