Goodbye Bump, Hello Baby Boy

I know I said that the bumpdates had come to an end but they were so popular I thought why not share one last bumpdate with you all. We have finally reached the last two weeks and are patiently waiting for the arrival of our baby boy. The car seat is in the truck, the hospital bag is fully packed and ready to go. It has been a great nine months of nothing but excitement, love, and anticipation. And although this may not have been planned I truly believe that everything happens for a reason whether you know the reason or not! We wouldn’t trade this for anything! I’ve learned so much in the past nine months and can not wait for what comes next in our life.

Who Needs Sleep Anyway?

What else is new since the last bumpdate? The daily wake up call of 3 or 4 am. Yup, pretty much every day I am woken up to a dance party in my belly and do I fall back asleep? Of course not! I lay awake sometimes fine with it but other days I am angry that I can’t get back to sleep. Maybe he’s training for all the sleepless nights to come or maybe it is a preditor to how he will sleep? Either way, we won’t know until he finally makes his arrival!

What’s Next

The next chapter is always a mystery but there is nothing wrong with that! I truly embrace the go with the flow attitude and with the baby on the way, the house still in renovation and family trying to make it up for the delivery that is all a girl can do. Go with the flow! So You can definitely say this last week is a waiting game, everyone has their prediction of when our little one will make his big arrival! In the meantime, Jeremy and family working hard to get our little home done and I am working on planning the baby shower. If you have any tips for baby shower planning let me know!

Maternity Photos Featuring Ella Bella Maternity

I knew that I wouldn’t be able to keep the camera away and let this pregnancy pass without some classic maternity photos to look back on. And when Jeremy got me my Canon Rebel T6 for my birthday I decided to save us a little money and take a few of my own. Plus since Jeremy is not a big photo person he liked this idea much better than baring the awkwardness with a photographer! So the other morning we woke up early drank our coffee and bared the frosty cold weather and ended up with these beautiful shots even the silly ones of Lexi! They may not be perfect but I love them. Now I can not wait to add them to the family photo wall.

I am wearing the Ella Bella Terri T-Shirt Dress in mustard yellow from the basics line. This dress has some serious fall vibes that I just couldn’t say no to this fall season. Not to mention it is beyond comfy and can take my from maternity to breastfeeding all while staying stylish. A major must for this mama to be! Did I mention that Ella Bella is also a Canadian brand?
