Staying organized and on top of everything is something that even I struggle with! Sometimes I fall off track then get stuck in the habit of not taking the time to get myself back on track! Sounds silly but I bet it happens to all of us, even the ones who seem like they have everything together.

But this year I do not want to slip and slide so I have come up with a few things that help me stay organized and on track. And I thought they may help some of you too so why not share them.

These are some of the little things that I do on the daily to help me stay organized and collected! Because somedays I am busy! Between my part-time job, small business, blog, housework and chasing my toddler I am always on the go.

| My Tips To Staying Organized |

| ONE | Wake Up Early

This one is easier said than done I know, trust me, but it makes a huge difference in the day. If you are not a morning person then set your alarm 5 to 10 minutes earlier each day for a week and slowly get into the habit of getting up earlier. Make a yummy breakfast or coffee, let yourself wake up!! It is much better than waking up late and rushing around. You may even find that it gives you a little more energy throughout the day too!!

| TWO | Plan Your, Month, Week or Day Ahead

Start small if you never “plan” then try using a monthly calendar and write down your work shift, appointments, bills, and, big to-dos. It is so nice to have something to remind you of the little things when life gets busy. Next, plan out your week, then plan it day by day. Write it all down, wants, needs, ideas, everything!! And if you miss a day do not beat yourself up just try again the next day. The best way to stay on top of it is to take 10-15 minutes at the end of each day to go over your planner and add a few details!

| THREE | Create A Routine

Get into a routine! I do not mean you have to do the same thing all day every day. But some simple routine things, make life easier, like grocery shopping 1 day a week will help you cut down on spending and eating out. Or exercising at the same time each day can help you fight the “I don’t wanna do it mentality”. Or maybe you have littles? Routines will help them feel aware of what is happening and help you understand fussiness or learning leaps and changes.
