Another month has come and gone and that means Emberly and Greyson are another month older (insert ugly crying mom face). Each month brings so many new things, from what they have learned and are exploring, to new favourite activities and so much more. This past month has been full of so much learning for both of them. It is crazy how much our not so little Greyson is talking and how much our little Emberly is growing and developing. And the way their sibling bond is growing brings tears to my eyes.

| Big Boy Greyson |

Greyson is a little chatterbox, and I am embellishing it when I saw he literally talks from the moment he wakes up until the moment he is sleeping. The Quiet days of Greyson are long gone! Right now he is saying over 100 words, not all perfectly clear but understandable. He is also saying simple sentences like “I see … ” and “I get … ” he is also saying short 2 word sentences and describing things as BIG. Right now everything is BIG, we are still working on the other description word

He still loves his sheep Timmy (we can thank Jeremy for the name), Greyson likes to call “Timmy” T since he can’t say Timmy yet. Adorable yes! But the downside is he calls him sheep-T which ends up sounding like shitty! Jeremy thinks it is hilarious, me, not as much. But it will make for a good story one day!

Thomas choo-choo. You guessed it Greyson has reached The Thomas the train obsession stage. And I am okay with it because I like it way better than Paw Patrol. Next on the obsession list is colours. Right now he is loving yellow and brown, they are the only colours he wants to colour with, so lately all our pictures are very bland in colour.

| Baby Emberly |

We just had her two month doctors visit and her immunizations. She is weighing in at 9 lbs 14 oz and measuring 55 cm which is right around the same as Greyson was at that age. And despite some bad reflux she is still smiling most of the time. Although she does have her bad days too where it feels like she cries all day. Which is completely different than Greyson was.

With that being said she is also gassy which has brought on its own challenges like 30-minute naps, crying fits, and overall fussiness lots of days. But with the help of some probiotics it’s getting a little better now we just need to sort out the reflux at the next doctors visit.

Along with smiling Emberly is cooing, gaaing, and drolling like a little monster. She has also found her hands and it gaining some great control over them, she loves chewing on them and reaching for the toy on the baby gym.

Well that is all that is new with my little ones. Next month there will be even more so exciting things that change so be sure to pop back in for another read. Until then be happy, keep smiling and be kind. And if you’d like to see more of what we do day to day follow me on instgram and facebook.
