Ahh blogging, when I first started this blog named EntirelyTaylor I did so to get me out of my comfort zone. To share my love for writing and share a little of my life. Since then it has evolved from lifestyle and fashion to motherhood and a little of everything in-between. Then at the start of this year I really really hoped, wanted, and tried to focus more on my blog but with full time school, nearly fulltime work and raising two children I could not find the time.
The months ticked by January, February, March. The school work, readings, and assignments piled up feeling like it was never going to end. Spring turned to summer and it was time to decide do I renew this space I have spent hours creating, this space I used to have a passion for but somehow lost in the tide of life. I thought long and hard about closing this chapter and letting it go but something told me no.
And so here we are! I still feel the passion for sharing our home, life, and, little family moments but with much caution these days. I do not want my kids to be raised with a phone in their faces or be made to feel like their childhood was on display for everyone to judge and critique. I do not want to make it seem like we live some perfectly curated, only beige life, because we do not.
We live a life where our house is still becoming home, where thrifting and hand-me-downs are wore until worn-out, where meals are a mix of quick fixes and homemade delights, where hand and toes get dirt and white doesn’t stay white longer than a day. A home where littles are learning their emotions, where we as their parents are learning just as much because there is no perfect recipe to parenting.
I guess what I am trying to say is Hello again, welcome back again, and hopefully this time I find that passion I used to have for this blog, this creative space. Will it be perfect like the big big time bloggers like Jillian Harris or LovingLittleBlog… No, no it will not! But it will be our life, real and true. So if you want to stick around or see what adventures are instore for the rest of the year come along and see.
